Estimating Services
Bills of Quantities
Measurement and production of Bills of Quantities measured to SMM7, NRM or builders Quantities from tender information for all types of construction projects, including commercial, retail, leisure, civil engineering and housing in both the private and public sectors. Presented in CITE, Excel and PDF formats
Cost Planning
Determining trade packages including taking off approximate quantities from initial concept design, forming pricing documents for each package and pricing to producing cost plans to assist budget, feasibility and cost planning.
Budgets
Creating budgets from initial design information for cost planning and control of outturn costs, monitoring cost forecasts during tender period and analysing areas that Value Engineering could bring value to a project.
Tendering
Creating tender packages, including pricing documents and/or Bills of Quantities, compiling design information for issue, creating scope of works documents, Issuing to sub-contractors on clients tender list with clients standards letters and CDs.
Value Engineering
Identifying areas within tender documentation and specifications on Value Engineering where this can bring best value to the project and producing cost estimates on what value could be achieved.
Tender Analysis
Collecting sub-contractors tender submissions, negotiating to achieve best value, analysing quotations and providing tender analysis and recommendations to contractors.
Quantity Surveying Services
Procurement
Creating subcontract package tender enquiry documents including contract preliminaries and conditions, pricing documents and/or Bills of Quantities, compiling design information for issue, creating scope of works documents and issuing to sub-contractors on clients standards letters and CDs. Monitoring the subcontract tender process to ensure tenders received through various tools to control the procurement. Analysing tenders received and producing a tender report and recommendations for subcontract appointment.
Subcontract negotiation
Negotiating terms and conditions and program requirements with subcontractors to enable subcontracts to be issued and signed by all parties.
Risk Management
Identifying risks and opportunities, producing risk registers, monitoring and managing out risks and opportunities.
Contract Surveying
Provide commercial management during the course of the project including carrying out interim valuations, cost reporting, evaluation of works and payments to subcontractors and suppliers, valuing variations and agreement with both clients and subcontractors.
Claims
Assistance where required towards production, negotiation and settlement of claims and advise on dispute resolution.
Part time or short term support
Provide commercial assistance either on a part time or short term basis to provide all types of surveying services.
Final Accounts
Provide substantiation, negotiation and settlement of final accounts for both subcontractors and main contractor final accounts.
